Term OverviewThe focus in Murramarang for Term 2 will be Asia. Each class will be exploring different aspects of the Asian continent. While each class is taking a different approach, we are all looking forward to our whirlwind tour of Asia. Some of the counties to be visited are Korea, China, Japan, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, The Philippines and Indonesia. 3DW’s Asian Adventure will see them researching a variety of countries, with an emphasis on research skills.3PR are taking an Asian Escape. The children will be focussing on a particular Asian country to present at our Expo later in the term. 3/4S and 4G are on a ‘Journey Through Asia’, having a two week stopover in four different countries. Studies of Asia provide a wonderful opportunity to integrate several KLA’s including English, SOSE, Art, Technology and LOTE. We are looking forward to seeing the spectacular work produced this term.
